Maryland DUI/DWI Charges

DUI or DWI charges in our state depend on the license type you hold, your age, and your blood alcohol concentration at the time of your arrest.

This charge applies when you operate a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08% or higher or are substantially impaired by alcohol or a controlled substance. ​For drivers under 21, a BAC above 0.02% can result in charges. For commercial license holders, the legal BAC limit is 0.04%.
