Her contributions to constitutional scholarship were published in the 2003–2004 issue of the journal, reflecting her enduring commitment to constitutional analysis and legal writing.
Davida also holds a Master’s degree in U.S. Political History from the prestigious Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Her graduate studies were supported by both a scholarship and a fellowship, further emphasizing her academic excellence and focus on the intersection of law, policy, and history.
Her academic journey began at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. While there, she served as Editor in Chief of Drumtalk, and was recognized with several national academic honors, including induction into Phi Alpha Theta (History), Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science), and Omicron Delta Kappa (Leadership).

Personal Background
Davida was born and raised in Ghana and immigrated to Maryland with her family in 1989. She has called Maryland home ever since. She is married and a proud mother to a daughter. Outside of her legal work, Davida enjoys reading mystery novels and is actively involved in her local church, where she volunteers her time conducting educational seminars and mentoring the youth group. Her personal and professional life reflect a deep commitment to community, learning, and service.
